A new luxury villa with amazing sea view of Kalamar Bay...
Our elegant villa is built from local marble and stone. The kitchen is open-plan syle, with french windows onto the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean. The sitting room has large French windows also opening onto a terrace with a built in BBQ, pool, outside shower, table tennis table and sun loungers.
The villa is situated in Kalamar Bay, Kalkan, the more peaceful bay of the two Kalkan bays. It is just 5 mins walk from the sea, where safe swimming, watersports and diving take place.
All rooms have private balconies - 3 with sea views.
On the top floor more beds can be added to the 2 single beds, in a 'dorm' gallery for children (with WC and washbasin), with two large terraces should guests want to sleep under the stars!

Notes on accommodation:
There is air-conditioning in all rooms upstairs, and fans downstairs. We have had children of all ages staying, all love it. Smaller ones do need to be watched as the pool is open- plan. There is an outdoor table tennis table.

Coast/Beach
The villa overlooks the stunning Kalamar Bay, and is a short 5 minute walk down to the sea, with friendly local beach club (providing diving, water skiing and other watersports), rock terraces and one waterfront resturant. Nearest beach is Patara, one of the top ten beaches in the world, just 15 minutes away by bus or car. A stretch of 18 kms of white sand, a beach bar, turtle nests, and a backdrop of ancient Ampitheatres and Forums.
Travel
Nearest major airport is Dalaman, 100 kilometers and takes less than 2 hours. Taxis are easily available, and a car, hire by the day or week, is recommended for exploring. The nearest ferry port is Kas (25km).
Distances
The town centre, with its well known atmosphere and excellent selection of restaurants and shops, is a 20 minute walk. Kalkan is situated in south west Turkey on the Mediterranean coast know as the Turquiose Coast. It is 25mins from Kas, 1 hour from Olu Deniz and Fetyie. For the 'culture vulture', Kalkan is ideally situated for exploring the ancient landmarks in Lycia, the medieval towns in the Taurus Mountains and the beautiful unspoilt coastline with Byzantian Fortresses.

Kalkan has so many exciting leisure activities from diving to waterskiing, cannoeing to horse riding. A favourite is spending the day on a Turkish Gulet savouring the beauty of the area, swimming, diving and enjoying the fabulous Turkish hospitality and food.
