Area Description Kalkan is an attractive fishing village with narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed bougainvillea covered buildings. There is an attractive harbour where many an hour can be spent with a cool drink watching the boats coming in and out.
The village boasts over 100 restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, many of which are on rooftop terraces overlooking the harbour and islands beyond. The property is situated on Kalamar Road, a quiet residential area about a 10 minute stroll into the centre of the village in one direction and about a 10 minute stroll to Kalamar Bay in the other. There is a shop just next door which sells basic provisions such as fresh bread, water, milk, wine etc. and the nearest restaurant is approximately 200 metres.
